I had a seller end a auction on me with 1 minute left on the clock. I was pissed, I sent him a letter asking if Ebay approves of this and he said he wouldn't sell Iit so low, in fact, here is his response to me:

 

hi hepcatradio, thanks for your response. i will try to answer your questions.

does e-bay allow this since it was a mere $3.00? i pay e-bay to auction my

items , e-bay does not pay me to auction items. therefore the items belong

to me until a bidder uses buy now or wins the auction. then e-bay charges me

again more money if my item sells. then e-bay charges me again for handling

the movement of money from you to me. then e-bay charges me again for

recieving the money along with a charge from my bank for depositing the

money. please try and understand i started the bid at 3.00 because i

believed the $20.00 to 25.00 comic would reach at least $15.00. i personally

paid $10.00 for this comic and i do not want to sell it for less. i would

have honored my commitment if you had won the auction for $3.00. i'm not

positive but i believe as the seller we can cancel an auction within 1

minute before the bidding ends. it's not fun for you the bidder as you

really wanted the item or you would not have bid on it in the first place. i

apologize for the inconvience to you. sellers must recieve close to what

they paid or make a profit in order to continue selling.

i have several wonder woman items than you may be interested in. #170

WONDER WOMAN #167 1967 FN/NM Item # 735457146 i also have a wonder woman album

from 1975. a wonder woman album from 1977 superman,wonder woman,batman x-mas

stories. i may have other comics as well. please try an understand. i will

make as good a deal as possible.

Another person to add to the list. Why didn't the insufficiently_thoughtful_person start the opening bid @ $9.99 then? mad.gif I hate sellers like this guy. Obviously he doesn't know jack about ebay rules and should be banned mad.gif

Spending that much time to try to beat the system out of a buck or two... Lame...

Here's the response to my email:

 

"Shows me that your to cheap to actually bid the $9.99 in the first place???

What took you so long? Surely it couldn't be that i am taking a loss on the

item??? Like some already. Maybe if you just send your name and address I'll

send it out to you ?"

 

My reply back:

 

"I'm a sniper you broad. I would have paid way more than $9.99. Just letting you know that your auction practices will catch up to you just like a few of your well deserved negatives did."

I myself had a run in with this seller

 

TWO-LIPS

 

I won an auction and she backs out saying EBAY made an error and she

cant honor my bid. (More like she didnt want to sell it at the price I won)

She did this to several people as I emailed them and they told me she

backed out on them. (They were afraid to post a Neg Feedback) I did post

1 to her...Read her LAME excuse to me...lol

 

 

 

BEWARE HER!
