Yep. One crucial point here, however. You've got to have access to books that most ebay sellers don't have.

Absolutely. Kind of. When I said "easy" I was actually referring to the selling part. Certainly the hard part is finding your fresh inventory on a regular basis. That means scanning Ebay, private dealer's websites and cons, as well as trying to find collectors that just want to "sell everything" to pay for a new baby, house or whatever. Yeah, as a seller the buying is the hardest part. That is where the real work and expertise needs to come into play. But it can still be fun. ----Sid

It definitely can be fun - it's the thrill of the hunt.

I was making on average about £200 ($350) profit a month on a ebay last year - so classed as a hobby, it wasn't too bad. However compared to my real job this is peanuts so apart from the odd fantasy of doing it for a living - I wouldn't have the guts to do it full time.

It funded my buying at least thus my collection supported itself. Great for marital bliss.

I know there are a few people on here that make flips for profit, to name one: sumo.gif, i mean greggy

So greggy how do you do it?

Dude, you have to call out Greggy with the following salutation:

"Greggy, most knowledgeable DC Guru whose awesome and mighty collection of sweet, sweet DCs is truly a thing of legend"

Also, depending on a time factor in the definition of "flip" (i.e. less than 3 months?)Greggy is not a flipper.

Or, you can just do like his mom does and shout:

"GREGGY! Paint on them short-shorts and get your squishy bee-hind downstairs! You've got company!"
