CLIFTON COMIC BOOK EXPO-NOV 13TH 20TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT

4 posts in this topic

Our Nov 13th Clifton Comic Book Expo is approaching quickly! This will be our 20th anniversary show! We have run nearly 200 monthly shows at the same venue since 1991! (Yes, we have had to cancel a handful due to hurricanes and blizzards.) Few IF ANY show promoters can claim the same.

As a thank you to our loyal customers (and anyone that has just discovered us), we will have absolutely incredible free giveaways throughout the day.

Watch the boards for updates!

One of the first creators to book for this show is our good friend Fernando Ruiz. A fan favorite, he is an instructor at the "Kubert School" and a senior artist at Archie Comics .

We all recognize the key issues in our medium... most have the number 1 in their indicia... but we cannot ignore "lesser" issues like All-Star 4, Green Lantern 76, or Swamp Thing 21...

Life With Archie 16 is poised to be a groundbreaking issue since it will feature the first gay marriage of a major character in comics and Mr. Ruiz will be illustrating it!

He will be signing and sketching all day at the show.

Two more creators added to the show: Paul Castiglia and Tom Hall

Paul Castiglia has been writing and editing comics and pop culture articles for over 20 years for publishers including Archie, DC and Dark Horse. Among Paul's many credits are writing the "Archie's Weird Mysteries" comic series, editing the "Archie Americana" series of classic paperback reprints, and writing stories starring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Tom Hall is the writer and co-creator of the award-winning "R-13" (aka "Robot 13") and "KING!" The digital version of "R-13" has the distinction of being one of the most-downloaded independent digital comic offerings of all-time.
