That cobra civil war section had me sold for the toys so when I was a kid I bought the whole set of Destro's Iron Grenadiers figures and vehicles with some of my paper route money.

Boy where my parents pissed.

 

They let me keep them though as a life lesson. Go figure.

Camelot 3000 - very nice.

 

I came across this series for $5 or something many years ago and picked it up just b/c people talk about it a lot. I thought it was just horrible. Do people only remember this b/c it was so late coming out? Or b/c it was highly anticipated before it came out? (shrug)

It's been a while since I read it, but I thought the story was pretty good, and the Bolland art was fantastic.

I was just thinking about this series the other day. I remember it fondly, but haven't read it in years. I regret selling my copies. I compare it to Gilgamesh 3000, which I kept and reread every couple of years.
