He autographed my LP from 1969. Great album! The guy is a comic genius. I always think he looks genuinely happy.

 

Doesn't Shatner do Ziggy Stardust on that album?

 

He does not perform Ziggy Stardust. I have read, and agree, that his version of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" could be the worst song every recorded. But I think it goes beyond that to actually break through to the other side and have greatness.

I found his senior class High School yearbook from the late 1940s (West Hill High School in Canada) and had him sign it last year. His reaction was classic. It's one of my prized posessions
