FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND BRITISH

1 post in this topic

As I understand it, the first two issues of Famous Monsters of Filmland were also printed in the U.K. The subsequent early issues were all printed in the U.S., sent to the U.K., and stamped with the numbers 2' 6 inside a small circle to indicate the British price.

My questions are as follows:

1. Are my assumptions above correct?

2. How many FM magazines were sent over to the U.K. per issue.

3. What were the numbers of the runs of the early FM issues in the States?

4. Are the British issues of FM considered more or less desireable than issues that remained in the U.S.? Or, is it irrelevant?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on the above!

Mike
