First time ever I'm disagreeing with Dave!! :o

 

2.0. I had a spidey 1 which looked a lot worse that graded out to 2.5.

Sorry I let you down brother,after I posted my reply I kinda thought maybe 2.0+.That damn tear at the lower staple on the back cover had me scratching my head,and the rusted staple?I never had a book that had these defects,so maybe I don't know how to grade them. :wishluck:

 

Not sure how this is going to turn out. Maybe you two need to make a wager?

 

How about a grading contest? :grin:

 

2.5 for me - expecting an SA Key bump.

 

:idea: Haven't done a contest before. What is the usual protocol?

Picked this up over the weekend. Sending in for a sub today. Guesses? I'll post the results when it comes back. H20 damage, bottom staple is rusty, but both staples are attached and centerfold is firm. PQ OW to CR-OW.

2.5 is my guess by CGC. It's a rare version to have both (") tick marks to the right of the exclamation point after Iron Man. Nice presenting front. Too bad about the water damage. Best CGC does with water damaged mid grade books is ususally 3.0-3.5, but this one is a bit more than most in those grades.

I did one once, it was fun. Whooever posts the first exact grade wins a prize, which you provide. On mine I added PQ to give opportunity for more people to guess. Its probably too late now. It was my way of giving a little back to the forum.
