What's with all these Argentina "Pif-Paf" Batman Detective books?

Have these suddenly become valuable, or are the sellers just a tad bit optimistic?

I believe the latter.

 

These are nothing new, we've all know about these for awhile. I think back in 2010 or 2009 you could pick these up on eBay for about $40. I bought the Tec 31 part 2 pif paf back then, still have it (somewhere)

 

I do not believe these to valuable, because they are reprints and really just copies, that came out about 6-months to a year after each Tec in America.

I'm with you on this... although I do like the look of the B & W art ... something cool about them. But not $500 cool.

At $40 I would buy them. I think they are way cool, but there isn't any love for foreign comics. That being said I do think the prices are nuts. I would think with that description they might get a couple hundred. I never knew about them so he would have gotten me.
