I'm not sure of how CGC would grade it, but I'd call it gorgeous.

 

Nice rich colors.

 

Those pre-code Ditko covers were certainly intense. I've searched for Ditko's signature on that cover (he signed almost all of his pre-code covers) but never found it. I keep thinking he hid it somewhere in the ornate patterns on the box.

I agree, RJPB... I'm going 8.7 on this one...

The spine creases are moderately significant

The cover wear near the BRC looks like more than a printing defect...?

 

Even so, it's a beauty, somewhere between 8.5 and 9.0, when factoring in the 'GA forgiveness' that CGC applies...
