Thats the way I was going to play this contest, but alot started moaning and complaining and 893blahblah.gif893blahblah.gif893blahblah.gif, so I gave in, to make it easier. mad.gif

Let's face it, with a slabbed book that is obviously in "almost new condition", a monkey could grade within .4

 

A few mid-graders would separate the men from the boys. sumo.gif

Screw 'em. Make it fair. I am a horrible mid-grader. Let's make this challenging. Even if it is only 1-2 rounds. Anyone can pick a number between 9.0 and 9.8 and be close.

Yup. Put in some mid- to low-grades. It's too easy to be within one grade level of an ultra-nice book.

I never thought I'd see people on these boards afraid to try their hand with a few mid-graders. Cripes, it's like a major leaguer complaining about a nasty slider... do you expect every pitch to be a fastball down the middle?

 

I think the only rule should be, the cover should be representative of the grade... no hidden flaws. After that, all is fair...
