B and B 28 - 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0?

Looking to buy this book from a seller on Ebay:

We've agreed to GPA pricing, now if only we can agree on what the grade is! (Nice book for a low grade, but note the big missing piece on bottom center - it's easy to miss on the photo.)

 

I say 1.5, he says 1.8. He may be right?

 

The difference in price is I pay $200 if it's 1.5, and $330 if it's 1.8!

 

I'd really love your help!

No higher than 1.8 with that chunk missing, but more likely 1.5 or even 1.0 with the other wear.

 

why don't you just split the difference, $265. The gap you list seems a bit wide for the grade difference, I'm guessing rather limited sales in one or both grades might account for that. On average I'd expect a 1.5 to be worth around 75% the value of a 1.8

Well, thank you all. I decided to make an offer at $269, which was the highest GPA price paid for a 1.5, but never heard back from the seller. Guess $330 was about as low as he would good. Ah, well. Again, thank you all.
