I LOVE that movie....When I was in the navy and stationed on an ammo ship, we used to watch it all the time. I was a medic and when we got a new MD on board, he was always harassing us about watching it....

 

I used to tell him "you don't realize how accurate this is !..You just got here, we've been living it...and now you're living it ! " lol

 

"More salt, Cookie!"

 

Best Damn line in the whole movie.

 

Jack Lemon took a sip out of what he thought was the main meal soup

while trying to play cool to some girls he was escorting on board and look in control,

he commanded the cook to place more salt in it and immediately the cook dropped his

dirty dishes in the pot because the pot was being used as washing container full of wash water.

Just in case anyone is wondering, not a ton of top end stuff tonight, but a few high grade bronze books and some good & cheap Silver Age stuff, and maybe a slab or two and a few tough moderns.

 

There will be some really good deals.
