Taking Nominations for Friday Thread of the Week

In the same vein as the Locked Points Challenge Thread, I propose we have a system rewarding ..er..punishing those delightful folks who start what can be best described as Friday threads. Of course, a Friday thread doesn't need to be started on Fridays. But let's begin and end each nomination/award period on Fridays, shall we?

 

Scoring:

 

-10 points for the doofus who starts it.

-5 points for responding in a serious manner within the thread.

-1 point for each post you waste precious seconds of your life making.

+3.75 points for the first thread nomination.

-15 reserved for a secret category of nomination.

 

I will keep score for the next 5 minutes and then I'll likely forget. Someone else will have to take up the mantle. As a result, there will be infighting among scoring suitors. Rule changes will be proposed, discussed and shot down, all in good time.
