I've been here about 5-6 times before and I never tire of it... St. John the Divine. I'm not religious by nature but I just love it here!

I love this church. Well worth visiting. The size of the building and the massive

blocks that the church is built out of. Nicknamed St John the Unfinished.

If you can, check out the Paul Winter Consort who play a concert in there a few weeks before the holidays. My wife and I have gone to see it on and off for the last 30 years, and it's magnificent to hear in the great hall of the cathedral. They used to fire up and blast the pipe organ during a few songs, but the last few years they've taken it easy on the instrument, mainly because it was damaged in the fire a few years back and had to be repaired. It's really something to hear, in a place that's awesome to behold.

Just checked, the dates are December 15th thru 17th.
