GI Joe 2: Retaliation Movie Preview

28 posts in this topic

2012 Razzies movie has already been chosen. :applause:

Cobra once again looks like they zero resemblance to that to which we all grew up loving to see.

Maybe in this movie Cobra Commander will turn out to be General Hawk's long lost twin brother while Rock turns out to be the real Destro instead of the Scottish one we have now.

This movie already blows balls.

This needed to be a reboot only!!!!!!

Oh Joy, another rant on how an 80s children's cartoon isn't faithfully transitioned to the big screen. Just a thought John, and this is coming from someone who LOVED Transformers and G.I. Joe as a kid, not all of it was worthy of being remembered fondly, or for that matter, remembered at all.

Think Shipwreck and his parrot Polly. ::Cringe::

Sometimes, a little selective updating is a good thing.

Thought you exited a while ago. :baiting:

GI Joe has the best cast of villains and heroes I have ever seen from a cartoon.

The first movie was a complete disgrace.

Nothing wrong with a good old soda and popcorn flick that doesn't require much brain power.

Agreed. Looks awesome. Might not catch it in the theater, but I will definitely blu-ray it at my house while the missus is at work.

I actually really liked it. The chase scene in Paris was worth the price of admission alone. It was a good summer popcorn flick, provided you weren't taking your Joe Bio Cards from the 80s toy into the theatre for comparison purposes. :baiting:

I'm curious to see how this one comes together, since they obviously are trying to make the sequel less "cheesy".
