Buy them from Cal he the real tight grader here! I just didnt like the spine stress and the corners and he said it looks the same on the back cover! So I graded it on being the same on the back cover!Big unknown that was made known to me!

Did any of the 9.0 and higher people actually look at the larger scan? Both spine corners have wear, there is quite a bit of fairly heavy spine stress, URC is bunged, two light creases bottom edge and an overflash crease top edge close to the spine. 8.0 at best. Sorry dude, not trying to hate on your book. I think people are just looking at the normal scan and not seeing a lot of the wear present on the book.

Your right!!

Didn't hit the larger scan. Looks like around an 8.0.

Just shows you why I will never buy raw books on eBay again. Even a decent size scan hides a lot of defects.

9.0 is awfully high for this book. I wouldnt go one inch above 8.0 The corners are soft on the left, spine has more than a few stress lines.

Exactly. And don't miss the crescent creases on the bottom edge or the crease that runs parallel to the spine about a half inch in from the edge at the bottom of the book. Those defects, along with some soft corners, take this book well out of the NM grades. It is still a very presentable book. Just not NM.

Very nice book and definitely send it in.

Maybe 9.2 to 9.4. Hard to see any defects (other than a touch of wear at the BLC) but the picture is pretty grainy.

Steve:

Try clicking on the book to view the larger scan. There's a lot of defects that aren't visible in the small scan, including about a dozen light spine stresses, two crescent creases along the bottom near the right edge, and a flaking crease about 3/4 of an inch long near the bottom of the spine. Then there's the upper right corner and lower left corners, both of which are soft.
