Unemployment sale, Pt. 4 : Planet Stories Fiction House pulps

Still no work, so still my collection must shrink... This time, I am offering my Planet Stories pulps. My criterion when collecting these was that the book must have a complete spine, cover must be complete, and it must have good colour, with no fadeaways or orange reds... Offered here will be a couple that miss the mark, but by and large, these will all fit that criteria.

 

Lower 48 shipping will be

 

1 to 3 pulps... 5.00 priority envelope, 10.00 boxed

4 to 8 pulps... 10.00 boxed

9 or more... 15.00 boxed

 

International will be extra, and to-be-determined...

 

These pulps were collected over a period of 8 years, with me buying multiple copies of most of these books (I got lucky the first time on 3, and only 3, of them) trying to upgrade to a VG+ or better complete run... I came within 17 issues of accomplishing this at one point... Such is life. 1st up (of course)...

Planet Stories v01n03 (1940-Summer) VG, inside cover was reinforced with glue (the glue is no longer holding, but the cover is still firmly attached, which makes me think that the glue was never necessary in the first place) 75.00

 

This is the hardest of all of them to find in decent shape, or at all. I went through around 4 copies of this one, basically every copy I found, other than 2 obvious beaters, to find this one that presents quite nicely.

Planet Stories v01n05 (1940-Winter) GVG 70.00

Another difficult one to find in decent shape, this is the only one I have ever seen with a near complete spine and/or cover with no missing chunks.

Planet Stories v01n06 (1941-Spring) VG- 75.00

This one has some water damage, which is visible on the back cover and on the inside covers, but, again, this is the nicest copy I found in 8 years of looking.

Not a particularly hard book to find, but this is the only one I found with a complete spine.
