Sniping Vs Normal bidding in Comiclink auctions

double stack???

Yep. A double stack on an eBay bidder list for an auction looks like this:

B**** (1413)

B**** (1413)

V**** (456)

G**** (4567)

T**** (34)

E**** (56)

T**** (34)

See how the top two records are the same? That means that the two highest bids were placed by the same person, who had second thoughts and then came back and raised their bid by some amount. I don't know what anyone else calls this, but I call it a double stack.

I call it a high bidder who wants to pay more banana052.gif

I do my bidding on eBay but I don't snipe either. I don't know, maybe it does work better. I like to put my max bid in right away hoping it will intimidate other bidders and make them give up. I do get outbid a lot though, probably more because my max bid is usually aggressively low than me not sniping lol

If something usually sells for $100 but I've seen one sell for $40 then $45 will be my max bid every time it pops up, just hoping to get lucky. It eventually worked when I got a copy of Hi Fructose #2 for about $150 less than going rate
