When did comic books change size?

Anyway, I'm just interested in a bit of trvia here...

 

When did comic books go from the silver-age size to the modern/current size? What year was it?

They've actually changed a few times during the period 1970 to date.

For most books the last silver age sized issue was cover dated January 1975, a few spilled over to February.
