BUY THE REST OF MY X-MEN comics ONLY $3.40 each!!!!!!

23 posts in this topic

OK, someone who wants to turn around and EBAY these or just keep them will seriously want to check this out.

I have 178 X-Men left to sell with some really good ones in the batch. Here's the deal:

I have NO DESIRE to do another EBAY auction for a long time (you guys know why), and I certainly do not want to EBAY 176 comics individually. SO, I am going to give you guys here first crack at the books I have left (AS A BUNDLE) and you guys can turn around and resell them. All the books are VF- at least with the exception of maybe 2 or 3.

I want $3.40 per comic for all 176 comics as a bundle ( not sold separately ) for a total of $600. Obviously if someone bought these and sold them on EBAY for an average of $10 each they could triple their money. There are 45 comics between issue #60 and #150 that will easily fetch a lot more than $10. I AM ALSO OPEN TO TRADES / PARTIAL TRADES for other early X-Men comics and I really want a Hulk 181... wink.gif

I take / prefer PayPal that way to can pay VIA credit card if you like. My PayPal address is steve@hardocp.com

If you are interested in these books, you can reach me at steve@hardocp.com?subject=Comicbook_lot / steve@hypothermia.us?subject=Comicbook_lot or Private Message me.

Overall, I just don't want to deal with EBAY for awhile unless I am buying something...all you guys that are big sellers and have the patience to sell these can turn a decent profit.

Shipping in the US/Canada is $20 and I will ship VIA FedEx anywhere they deliver...OVERSEAS folks contact me about shipping.

The books I have are:

60, 65, 78 x2, 79, 95, 100, 103, 105, 108, 110, 116, 117, 120, 124, 127, 128, 129, 133, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 143, 144 x3, 145 x3, 146 x2, 147 x3, 148 x3, 149 x3, 150 x2

I just think your asking price is a tad high. There are a lot of issues involved but still...... 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

the good thing is, this isn't eBay, if someone said had a decent offer, or had some comics X-Men comics I wanted...etc. etc. etc. I would gladly trade / cash / swap .... thumbsup2.gif

If someone on here doesn't make you an offer. I would suggest putting them on Ebay with smaller bundles of say 10-15 comics an auction. I know you haven't had a good experience so far, but if you want to unload this without serious loss, you might consider it.

Try listing in bunches since you have the pics already. After uploading the pics.

1. X-men 60 68 73 etc

2. Condition F- VF....

3. Cut and Paste shipping and payment instructions

4. List at 0.99 cents

Press Submit

Click on "Relist Similar Item". Change the title, description and pic link

Press submit

Rinse Recycle Repeat

Takes one hour and most likely you'll have three bidders win 15 auctions. Here are my auctions of similar type material. Notice my mis spell of Elektra.

I should have been more clear...the time and energy is required DEALING with the auctions and winners wink.gif

Everyone that has been following my recent problems with selling on EBAY know what I mean. The quick version of the story...selling on EBAY blows. wink.gif

I have to admit that I don't buy mid-grade or modern comics, but my guess is that most of the issue in the 300 and up range can be found in 50 cent to $1.00 boxes at conventions (I know I bought a few for my son for 50 cents at a LCS).

My rule of thumb, is when I really don't want a book (or any item), just sell. Even if you don't get what you want for them, it won't matter one month from now. Of course if you sell something you really didn't want to sell, and don't get what you want, you will remember that for a very long time.

It is a lot of hassle, no doubts there. Hang in there!

will do bro... I figure I can hang in there for awhile and maybe give someone here a decent deal than going the EBAY route again.

Then again...a one time shot at EBAY might be worth the hassle...casue after this, I am down to my core collection ( the keepers ).

Well, I am trying to avoid selling these things individually because it requires waaaaay to much energy and time (that I don't have) to do it like that. Sorry bout that. sorry.gif
