That's got to be a mistake?

 

People try it on and see what they can get away with.

 

There is a Batman #352 CGC 9.9, only one on the census which WWComics originally sold for $220, thats a price I would have paid. Whoever owns it now first tried to sell it for $999 with no bites, both on eBay and ComicLink.

 

Then it dropped a couple of hundred and still hasn't sold.

 

I believe its now on comiclink again but this time at $650.

 

Those who learn the lesson that "its not going to sale" at that price tend to drop it but there are those who are happy to relist & relist a book at an extravagant price incase they get lucky and some fool walks along who needs to be parted from his money. :facepalm:
