Ultra High Grade Cleveland Consignment Debuts Monday, Feb. 13 on Pedigree Comics

We have received many, many consignments since we first started Pedigree Comics back in 2004, but this one is easily one of the very best. It is a CGC certified 9.4 to 9.8 collection of over 500 comics from a picky Marvel and DC enthusiast out of Cleveland, Ohio and every one of his books will be offered for sale over the next couple of months here at Pedigree Comics, both in the New Arrivals section and then in the March Grand Auction. His collection spans from the mid Silver Age to the Bronze Age and encompasses every title imaginable from Adventure Comics to X-Men!

 

He only bought CGC graded comics in Near-Mint (9.4) or higher, and most of the books are in 9.4 or 9.6 condition with a bunch in 9.8. He specialized in keys and first appearances and tracked down every such issue in 9.4 or better he could find. Amazingly, there are over 200 #1 issues in the collection! In addition, there are nice runs of Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Fantastic Four and Thor and almost every Bronze Age key, #1 and first appearance issue is included in the collection.

 

We will be listing the books in alphabetical order beginning on Monday afternoon, February 13th with the initial 20 books (Adventure Comics to Amazing Spider-Man).
