Lion's Gate and Marvel are Makin' DVD's!

Today's paper had an article saying Lion's Gate and Marvel have entered into an agreement for 8 original animated direct to DVD features, starring various Marvel heroes.

 

The article didn't say which characters though.... confused-smiley-013.gif

Read that the live action Black Widow & Iron Fist will go straight to dvd/video release. More jobs for Canucks as Lion's Gate is near Vancouver, BC. flowerred.gif

 

I think you're confusing this new deal with Marvel's pre-existing deal with Lion's Gate for Black Widow and Iron Fist. Black Widow and Iron Fist live action movies will be for theatrical release. The new straight-to-video agreement is for 66+ minute animated films that Lion's Gate will produce, not live action films. Marvel/LGF Press Release
