What's the next best thing to actually owning an ultra rare University2 strip?

An early unpublished CHO pinup featuring a complete Brandy (HEAD to TOE) with good "old" Frank from U2. Please note CHO's signature on this piece - that is only reserved for "finished" pieces, not what you would get at a convention these days. This was finished prior to our two day show at the RALEIGH MARRIOTT CRABTREE -April 19 & 20. 1997. You just don't see "full length" drawings of Brandy anywhere except in private collections. Just look at that stare! CHEESECAKE HEAVEN!

Please note the back of this has an extremely light drawing of Tarzan (torso) and a few large apes. Probably leftovers from Cho's Dark Horse tryouts OR a piece for Titantic Tales.

The image size is nice and large at 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 on 10 by 11 acid free board. No whiteout and the piece has been stored in an acid free frame since '97. Very clean piece by CHO. You can even see his pencils underneath which is always a plus in my book. Please note this piece also pre-dates his Liberty Meadows strip and is rendered in his "classic" style. In fact, he had just signed his contract for syndication the week before the show .

You run across newer Cho pieces in the $3000 to $4000 range of marvel heroes/toy designs everyday but never examples of a full length Brandy and Frank when he was just coming off the classic U2 series! I certainly prefer this pin-up over my U2 strip as two out of the four panels were stats! Check out the Brandy art over at CAF and see how many full length examples you find. You'll never see another like this and for such a low price!

Sorry - no trades at the moment as I have my eye on another piece.

$1600 shipped - bulletproof shipping, delivery confirmation and insurance.

I've had quite a few partial trade offers on this piece but I have to stick with cash only, sorry. I worked as a liaison for collectible dreams promotions (CDP) back in the '90s rounding up various artists and dealers for shows around the triangle. That is how I commissioned this great Brandy pin-up by Cho and purchased the two U2 strips. Wow - over fifteen years ago!

Please feel free to PM me for a list of items including hand written letters that mention this actual piece, my personal cancelled checks for the art/strips, the ultra RARE '97 Liberty Meadows syndicators promotional kit and other cool items where he signed his real name, DUK H. CHO! How rare is that? I'll also throw in one of the flyers for the show we hosted in Raleigh where Cho was the guest of honor as well as the very same place he was introduced to BUDD ROOT! I never throw anything away as I knew this would come in handy for provenance down the road.
