Mistakes / Errors in comic books from the SA ...

I always heard it was that explaination (green easier to reproduce consistently than grey).

That is what Stan Lee said in an interview i have seen.

They made the conscious decision to make him green after the first issue due to the grey coloring being difficult to keep consistent. So i guess this one does not count as a mistake.

Dumb question and I haven't read X-Men #4 but was Scarlet Witch's costume originally green as depicted on the cover?

I think it may have been red on the interior pages (just a guess).

Can anybody with a raw copy verify this? A pic would be awesome too!

Peter Parker / Peter Palmer

This is in ASM#1, right?

I have the masterworks and i think they corrected it. I have never read an original copy.

The error was uncorrected in the early Australian reprint of ASM #1, Done in 1963:

One of the error panels:

"Peter Palmer" can (just, sorry) be seen in the centre panel.

I can just make it out ... Nice!

Don't have a scan handy, but Tales of Suspense early Iron Man issue (43?) had the word Pharaoh misspelled as Pharoah both on the cover and the splash page in big ol' part-of-the-art-header letters
