Ultra Hi Grade Avengers & Fantastic Four Runs in Pedigree Comics’ Grand Auction!

1 post in this topic

MAJOR NEWS!! We have just received on consignment extraordinary runs of two of the best all-time Marvel Super-Hero group titles, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, and the books will be available to bid on and buy in our upcoming March Grand Auction. This incredible online event is scheduled to begin in less than two (2) weeks on the night of Monday, March 12th, and last for ten (10) days until the evening of Thursday, March 22nd. The auction will have a few hundred choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages including many key and first appearance issues. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every book will be listed without a reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can check out over 100 high grade, CGC certified comic books right now in the Auction Preview at www.PedigreeComics.com under the Grand Auctions banner.

The two new super-hero group consignments are very deep and mostly contain 9.6 and 9.8 copies. The Avengers run has over 40 issues between #1 and #58 and 60% of the books are in 9.8. There are a bunch of pedigrees to choose from, mostly from the Curator Collection. With the Avengers motion picture scheduled for a May 4, 2012 release, Silver Age examples of this great title, especially in ultra high grade, are expected to have increased demand and this is a fabulous opportunity to fill holes in your runs and/or upgrade on lower certified copies. It is also an opportunity to upgrade on page quality as most of these books have snow white pages. Almost every book from the consignment will be listed without a reserve.
