New Books Not in Registry Sets?

7 posts in this topic

Hey folks - I just got a bunch of new Moderns slabbed and wondered if there's a process to getting them listed as a part of the Sets in the registry, so I can log the cert #'s and get points associated for having them?

Or is it just a matter of waiting for CGC to getting around to getting the newest ones in? I.e. Justice League (2011) issues 4 and 5 aren't there yet...

Funny you bring this up. Just today I finally decided to log all of my collection in the CGC Registry. In the process of doing this, I did find a partial workaround for your question.

First go to a set that isn't associate with the comics you want to add. Second add all the comics you want to add into spots for empty comics. Third save the set. After a couple of minutes you'll be presented with a webpage that states each of the comics you added have been registered, but are not valid for the set slot. Finally go back to the Registry Control Panel, and look at the comic list. You'll notice all the new comics you added are now tied to your registry set and are waiting to be added to sets.

Please don't do this as I have to manually reject each book that receives a failure message so I am tied up and unable to add new sets or slots. I would prefer that the sets be requested and then you patiently await their addition, please.
