FS: Herb Trimpe Sketchbook CGC Signature Series File Copies!

Back in 2009, I helped Herb Trimpe put together his first sketchbook. The official print run was 350 copies of the regular (Green) Signed & Numbered editions and 35 "Sketch" editions (which were Cream). In addition to that, there were some extra copies which Herb numbered as APs.

 

As is typical, we went through a few iterations before we arrived at the final product. The original proposed title was "Learning to Draw," but we changed it at the last minute to "Odds and Ends"

 

When I ran into Herb at a rare West Coast appearance in January 2012, I had him add sketches to the different protoype editions that I had in my files. And, I had CGC grade and encapsulate them with the Siganture Series label. Typically on 1-2 of each variations exist of each book

 

I am offering up some of these prototypes to the public. If you wanted one of Herb's sketchbooks for your collection don't miss out on these. These are a lot rarer than the regular edition (and I'm charging the crazy $850-$3500 prices I've seen being asked on eBay).
