Batman #6 Greg Capullo Sketch Variant

I'm going to get it signed by capullo then graded for a signature series, what does it look like? i was hoping for a 9.8 bu upon further inspection and this scan i'm leaning towards 9.4 maybe 9.6 if i'm lucky. this is going to be my first submission to cgc so any advice on taking care of it until signing, would be most welcome. thanks, guys.

impossible to tell the difference between a 9.4 - 9.6 - 9.8 book on a scan that size.

seems like a fairly harsh bend/crease in the center spine.

 

and one right below that one....unless those are some weird scan refraction of light.

 

bottom left corner would be nice to see

@krighton - that's what i meant, that'll be the difference in a grade.

yeah, personally creases, even a slight bend, drive me nuts. more difficult to tell what they'll do with sharpish corners.

 

i'd W.A.G and say a 9.4... I don't think there's any shot at a 9.8. I'll bet those would press out nice though.

9.4 looks like it will press out send it to joey press he does great work. But i dont think a 9.6 and 9.8 is a no go at this point.

When i have high grade books put away for storage I put two boards behind it and one in front in a bag. Then it goes in a Mylar.

I have one in similar condition that I was considering for a sign and slab. Might go for it having seen this!
