CLASSIC COMICS - GIFT BOXES

In going through my collection I ran across an ad on the back cover of my Dr. Jekyll and Mr.

Hyde for these gift boxes which each contained five (5) copies of CLASSIC COMICS. I

remember seeing them in a store window in Bloomfield, NJ when I was a kid...but who had

50 cents for a box of CLASSIC COMICS? There were three (3) box sets, BOX "A" issues 1-5,

BOX "B" issues 6-10 and BOX "C" 11-15. I was wondering if anyone collects these and if they

do maybe they could show them?

They are pretty scarce, but they are out there. And they are very cool, with beautiful graphics on the boxes. I sold two different box sets years ago. I know a couple of different collectors who have multiple variations. Good luck with your hunt for them. One will turn up.
