That way I can play again next year and we can just swap championships.

All clear here! The only damage I see is to my ego because it looks like Toro edged me as I continued my mastery of near misses. Actually, I perfected it this round by managing to overgrade every book by exactly one notch. I've been consistently undergrading so I tried not to be so harsh this time. Almost pegged the MP13 but at the last moment I decided to go 9.8. By my math if I'd gotten that one bullseye we'd have gone into an OT round. :frustrated:

 

edit - maybe not so close as I thought at first - if Toro gets a +5 bonus for 2 BEs, and then +10 for the 3rd BE, then that's another 5 point margin I hadn't figured at first. I think that's how the scoring is calculated upon a reread of the rules, but I typically don't try to figure my own scores so I've never figured that out exactly. Anyway, either by a narrow or a wide margin, it's not gonna matter! lol

 

 

So congrats Toro, knock em dead in the Final 4!

I'm just happy to make the final four, this is the best I've ever done in this format. If Vegas takes odds on the final four bet the house on zuckuss2003 in the next game.

Unbelievable... :o(worship):insane:

 

How anyone could nail that Dr Strange and FF is way beyond me. You have to totally discount the major rubbing on the Dr St as a production issue AND figure out that a book that dirty on the BC can still be a 9.0.

 

And don't even get me strarted on The FF...inch long diagonal crease in the ULC, multiple scuffs/rubs in the book middle and two rust transfers by the staples on the BC and it gets an 8.5?? When were these books graded?? Some of my MIS's and JIM's that got 8.5's 7 years ago blow those books out of the water!!!!

 

I guess you can surmise that I got my azz kicked...... :(:sick::tonofbricks:

 

Oh well it's time to prepare for the 30th+ Anniversary Final Four Party tomorrow. I hope the Pliney's flows for a good long time...
