Comicopolis is not a big fan of Amazing X-Men (Jason Aaron).

Does anyone else have an opinion and or review of this new series?

It's too silly for my liking. I'm gonna drop it.

 

 

I kind of like it, purely because it's not dark, grim 'n' gritty like almost everything else out there at the moment, it's reminiscent of Marvel's 70's and early 80's output. It's not the greatest book on the market, but it's okay.

New Avengers #13 INH – gibberish.

Nova #12 – childish.

Origin II #1 – pointless.

Revolutionary War Dark Angel #1 – a terrible comic book from the 1970’s fell through a time warp and ended up between these pages.

Savage Wolverine #13 & #14 – Logan talks to elephants and gets all serious before getting all dull during Prohibation.

Secret Avengers #14 – dull.

Superior Spiderman #25 – the ugly art is ruining this book for me.

Superior Spiderman Team Up #09 – interesting.

Superior Foes of Spiderman #7 – trite.

Thunderbolts #20 – Hellish.

Uncanny X-Men #16 – mildly interesting.

Wolverine #13 – boring.

X-Men #9 – pointless.

Young Avengers #15 – tries far too hard to be trendy and relevant.

All New Invaders #2 – overblown.

All New X-Factor #3 – still interesting.

All New X-Men #23 – a good read.

Amazing X-Men #4 – stupid.

Avengers #26 – multiverse mindlessness.

Avengers AI #9 – getting tiresome.

Avengers World #3 – ponderous and dull.

Black Widow #3 – pointless espionage. The artwork is distracting.

Captain America #16 & #17 – beyond terrible.

Daredevil #36 – an excellent end to an excellent series.

Fantastic Four #1 – promising.

Guardians of the Galaxy #11 & #12 – excellent!

Hawkeye #15 – still good.

Indestructible Hulk #19 – dull.

Inhumanity #2 – interesting.

Iron Man #21 – dull.

Iron Man Annual #1 – more dullness.

Loki, Agent of Asgard #1 – two Loki’s for the price of one

Mighty Avengers #6 & #7 – much improved.

Ms Marvel #1 – not too keen on the art but promising nonetheless.

New Avengers #14 – Crisis on Infinite Earths, but done in a terribly pompous and dull way. DC should sue.

New Warriors #1 – promising.

Nova #13 – stupid.

Savage Wolverine #15 – Depression area heroics.

Secret Avengers #15 & #16 – tedious in the extreme.

She-Hulk #1 – pretty green. And excellent!

Superior Spiderman #26-28 – truly superior.

Superior Spiderman Team Up #10 – interesting.

Punisher #1 & #2 – promising.

Superior Foes of Spiderman #8 – silly.

Thor God of Thunder #18 & #19 – back to being excellent.

Thunderbolts #21 & #22 – best issues in a long time.

Uncanny Avengers #16 & #17 – the book finally gets interesting.

Uncanny X-Force #17 – a mess.

Uncanny X-Men #17 – another mess.

Winter Soldier the Bitter March #1 – pretty cool.

Wolverine #1 & #2 – difficult to tell what is worse, the writing or the art.

All New Invaders #3 – best issue so far.

All New X-Factor #4 – not a great fan of the artwork but the story is cool.

All New X-Men #24 – excellent.

Avengers AI #10 – better.

Avengers Undercover #1 – unengaging.

Avengers World #4 – dull.

Black Widow #4 – uninteresting.

Captain America #18 – I give up on this book.

Captain Marvel #1 – a promising start with some nice art.

Daredevil #1 – a reboot but still excellent.
