Spiderman

I always read ASM/SSM & Ultimate SM when they come out - everything else seems to take time to get to. Enjoying both of these, moving Miles forward threw me a bit & gives me the impression that he might be on the movie clock like Doc Ock :o

I'm now torn on any return of Ultimate PP but Marvel being Marvel and with USM #200 coming out around the same time as second ASM movie. It makes you wonder whether they'd do it and possibly serve the Miles fanbase with an untold tales series covering time missed during this fast forward... hm

Avengers

1st New Avenger arc 1-6 after the arc was over I liked it - I enjoy how most characters are interacting with each other. Well written dialogue.

1st 12 Avengers issues - too many characters, too many super duper powerful characters - why even have Spidey, Shang Chi etc.. to appear for two panels or chop a robot leg - enjoyed the powered down recent issue w/Black Widow, Spiderwoman, Shang Chi & the new mutant punks.

As mentioned here both above Avengers books are trying very hard to be big, the New Avengers/Illuminati group did 'big' better.

1-8 Uncanny Avengers was uneven, I like the characters in it (esp. Wonder Man & Scarlet Witch) Hit & miss so far.

Other

Daredevil - finally got a missing issue & had a few to catch up on, still great - this usually gets read with the Spideys ! :headbang:

Bendis X-men books - great improvement over prior series - why? Because I couldn't read the other stuff!! After "auto-collecting" X-books for years I made an effort to get back on board with Schism & fell off after a few issues - hopefully this will continue to be interesting stuff. I'm a fan of Bendis.

Still have the rebooted Thor, Fantastic Four, Iron Man & might even attempt Ultimate Avengers.

Gave up on even trying to read some other stuff & have dropped quite a few titles with the Marvel Now reboot so far I'm pleased with what I bothered to read.

Thanos Rising #2. Gripping!

Thanos Rising #3 and #4 are most excellent! I am really enjoying these! They keep getting better with each issue.

I also am enjoying the Nova series. I know you gave it a headache and your eyes bleed, but the wolverine and x-men that just came out is really awful! Bad art and story imo no redeeming qualities what so ever!

X-Factor 261 was a great read. One more issue.

Sad that it's ending. :(

Ah well, probably better than a new creative team taking over and making it unrecognisable.
