book/resource suggestions

Anyone have any suggestions on some good books or websites that I should probably pick up or read? I learned alot from just reading these boards but theres tons of things I have absolutely no idea about. Some form of at least partially accurate pricing would be a good start, so I don't end up getting screwed and I don't have to keep posting a new message every time I want to check to see if such and such is a good deal or what have you. Also to get a bit of history on collecting comics, how it began, why it began, whats important to know. What are determining factors in grading comics, as far as just to give an educated guess. Any good resources or sources of info you guys can point me to would be fantastic!
