It takes 2 insufficiently_thoughtful_persons to drive up a price in an auction tongue.gif

Naw, i'm just saying that there needs to be an underbidder to drive up the price. grin.gif

Those Canuckle head dealers timed the sale perfectly to cater to the Wizard & Cinescape mag DD/Elektra/Bullseye hype machine.

I've dealt and known the "head" of that pair for years.

He's got a HUGE amount of that book, probably hundreds of copies at one point. What a ridiculous price.

Yeah, that book is 'super rare' according to the seller..........maybe it is, in comparison to say Claremont & Lee's X-Men #1 grin.gif

The guy who writes the description and handles ebay is not the same one who actually owns most of the stock.

And didn't you know? Apparently anything with less than a 350,000 copy print run is "rare", and so is anything before the 90's, and so is any #1, or anything "ultimate", or EVERYthing before 1979, even the biggest POS, especially Silver Surfer #4. blush.gifblush.giftongue.gif
