So I have been out of the hobby for at least 15 years...and I am still getting used to number grades.

 

Well, numeric grading may be misleading, because it seeks a sort of precision where there can be none, but each numeric grade has more or less its own equivalent to be sided with.

 

As per this discussed range:

 

VF- : 7.5

F/VF: 7.0

F+ : 6.5

F: 6.0

F- : 5.5
