Very nice book!

 

7.5, maybe 8.0? Some cover creases and corner wear are all I can see that is significant.

Actually, Harley sold me the book and claimed it was a VG. Didn't have money at the time for real HG books so I bought it because the colors were pretty sharp. Coming back as a CGC 6.0 with Cream/OW pages. I almost sold the book raw to a collector on the boards who claimed it was a 4.5 and wanted it for a bit under OSPG. Glad I kept it and had it slabbed.

Yeah, 4.5 it is not, much better than that. With cream pages 6.0 is probably about right, Color seems too nice for it not to approach VF though.

I know the scan is small, but look closer, it has creases that break the color on 3 corners and it even has a huge crease going below the comic code symbol and the Hawkman wing! Even if you use the Overstreet grading definition, you know that just does not even approach VF when you have creases like that. I would have said no better than 5.5, 6.0 was slightly generous.

I would have called it 6.0 myself. I have 3 of these things but this one blows all 3 to shame. Great book Steve!
