Perhaps he was referring to Sonia Oback, the colorist on the series? I believe she also works with Rodin on the MG covers.

I was talking to someone behind the table in AA at C2E2 about this book & they mentioned that it was about a three year series (36 issues?). Do you think the limited nature of the story will affect it, from a speculative standpoint?

a 3 year can turn into an extended run if people are buying it.....i've seen way too many 1 of 4 or 1 of 6 beome monthlys to put any stock in numbers.

For this title, I think the 3 year run estimate is probably accurate. It's a concept that demands an ending and I'm not sure the central mystery can be sustained beyond 36 issues.

Ongoing titles tend to sustain interest better, IMHO.

 

Once a series ends, the 'out of sight, out of mind' factor can kick in.

That sucks! Figures, I get excited about a book and of course the East Coast isn't going to get the book on time. I hope that this doesn't screw up sales for this book. It looks like

You can always buy digital to read it on the day it comes out and then pick up the real life copy when it hits the store help out the sales. I haven't read a single thing about this book myself other than the title. I already know I want to read it based on the art alone and I want to keep everything a surprise including the premise. Should be fun!
