I live about 45 minutes north of MB in NC.

 

Never been to XCon. Was told by Chad (think that's his name) at Apocalypse that there isn't a whole lot of comic stuff, but lots of costuming, gaming, and whatnot.

 

Nice to see they've moved to the convention center. I might go since its just 10 bucks.

You shop at Apocalypse as well? Cool. I've purchased some TPBs there, but there isn't much as far as back issues that I'm interested in. He has mostly modern stuff.

 

Nice that you might go. I can think of worse ways to spend a weekend.

Yeah I used to have a pull list there whenever he was at his old store out in Longs, but now that he's moved further into MB the drive, gas prices, and all the lights aren't worth it.

 

I'll see him at heroescon in a few weeks though.
