Greetings from Pedigree Comics, Inc. We’ve been as busy as we’ve ever been getting all the last group of books scanned and uploaded for our May Grand Auction, which begins tonight, Monday, May 7th at 8:00 p.m. EST and lasts for ten (10) days until the evening of Thursday, May 17th. This auction is chock full of great comics to choose from and will have close to 450 high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages plus some choice Golden Age books. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and many will have no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. Consignors maximize their profits selling in the Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in our competitors’ sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in one of our Grand Auctions, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular site and we do not saturate the market with the same material over and over every month. Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the May Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines.
