I never once alluded to the notion of me possibly getting a minimum of 50k, so your assumption is far fetched! The three sales of the 9.9 were within a few minutes, so they are not an adequate gauge of proper sales. Let's just say, for your amusement, we use your analogy of $250.00 as that is four times the normal sales rate of a 9.8, so the 10.0 would be a minimum of 1k based on the 4x sales of the 9.9s, which were only BIN's and not straight auction. Now if we use the analogy of the #1 sales; it would be different. The #1 sales hover around 100, and the 9.9s averaged around 900, so that is 9X's the sales of the 9.8s, and the 10 SS sold for $7,400, which is 7Xs the sales of the 9.9s.

So now let's take that formula and apply it to the #2 10.0. 9.8s sell for 50.00 on average, so the 9.9 would sell for $450.00 (ideally), and then the 10.0, should sell for $3,100 (based on that formula of course).

Did I miss something, HugeRosen? 2c:baiting:

Simple math goes far in anticipation of sales...as does logic, what a thought, HugeRosen!!!!

Pulling numbers out of thin air with no basis in reality - always a bonafide :winnah:

11x17...no idea what happened to the freckles. I guess you could call it a print. Dunno the exact difference or definition. There were a small stack on his table.

your doctorate (if its real), clearly isnt in math or economics....

If a single person paid both the inflated 9.9 and the inflated 10 price. How does this relate to your book?

Then tell the CGC board again how much it costs to submit books to CGC....

What are you talking about? Do elaborate, or are you going to edit your comment yet again? What does the term inflated have anything to do with what we are talking about now? The proper term would be going rate; not inflated rate.

I am actually pursing a doctorate, so learn to read properly before assuming as I recently finished my 2nd master's degree and am pursuing my doctorate simountaneously (sorry for the big word).

BTW, it is also so cute that you have a want list in your signature line. Maybe one day you will aspire to fulfill that list, since it is not a tough list at all...

Oh yeah...this was in my common box that I forgot I had, interested?

Rofl - Apologies indeed

"Simountaneously"

Is that when two speculators think they've found a sucker and try to both jam it in the same hole at the same time?

Most times people won't pick on spelling around these forums.

However when you say something like this,

I know you said it, but you've got to be able taste the sweet sweet delicious irony, right? Swinging around your school resume as if 1) it matters and 2) as if it MATTERS, in an attempt to show how smart you are while "simountaneously" looking like you might be a chromosome short of a full set.

It is, however, entertaining...so rock on. (thumbs u

Regardless about the price flat-lining at the moment, I have noticed it continues to stay well implanted on the Lyria Comic Exchange Market webpage when sorted by "Comics to Watch". It's always near the top and always just plugging away. I'm not sure why this is. The only other books which have managed to have lingered this long are Peter Panzerfaust, Walking Dead, Thief of Thieves and Saga.

Sorry _ I'm on a different time scale..

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281081381919?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649

$128 with 13 bids. Thats not fishing.

Store in Belgium took big bulk order, 1:10's been going for $150+

I don't just sell on ebay or here.

Steady relationships with collectors go a long way.

Not re-igniting but lowest sale recently has been $100+ inc shipping.

Good time to sell is all I'm saying - use the Hulks momentum!

Some people come on here, take some time to meet some people, and contribute to some discussions in a positive way. But then some people come on the boards and act like overly sensitive, defensive person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed bags. Way to go (thumbs u (Not you Andy, you are a solid contributor)

So, based on what was said earlier by HugeRosen, then this little book is only worth $500.00 :blahblah:

I have submitted about 60 books thus far to CGC and 57 9.8s, 2 9.9s, and now this little baby.... (worship)

But the ironic part is that this little 3 book lot is only going to bring in 1k, supposedly, wow, what a shame, hm:screwy::frustrated::roflmao:

Thanks for looking, but I have to keep up, in agreement, with my screen-name!! :golfclap:

Yes, you are right, they are worth $50,000. Congrats.

Not sure if he thinks he could get 50k, but he would get more than 1k. You think there is only 1 hulk44. (tsk)

Ugh, again, I hope this guy gets thousands and thousands for this book. It only increases the value of my stack. But to your point, yes, there is only 1 hulk44.

There have been 3 #2 9.9's for sale so far. Sold for $200, $200, and $250. Has there been any movement up in price for Revival since then? No.

I'm sure he's excited which we all would be if I got a box from CGC with a 10.0. I'm not trying to rain on a parade. But when someone asks what it's worth and I give an opinion and get countered with a $7,500 sale example of a #1 SS, instead of looking at past sales of the exact same grade and issue, that's just nonsense.

I'm still reading but encase your curious 9.9's sell for 3-5x a 9.8 and 10.0's sell for 2-3x a9.9 in general. (thumbs u

Since you seem to enjoy logic. :)

Revival #2 in 9.8 = $50. In 9.9 = $150-250. In 10.0 = $500-750. It's not touching $3,100 because ONE person overpaid for #1s in 9.9 and 10.0.

^^ for accuracy

People are learning. :whee:
