Silver Age Comics Staple Question

Mainly a modern comic collector so need some help!

 

How many staples were in binding of Silver Age Comics? Just two or Three?

 

If there is only suppose to be two and a third was added should I remove it or leave and and how would the tiny holes affect the grades?

 

Would they be considered qualified if staple left and universal if removed?
