is there a jpg/chart for page color grading?

i used to have one, but can't find it

 

(of course, the computer screen doesn't reproduce w/100% accuarcy, but still it can be helpful)

 

i'm not looking for written descriptions, but visual examples

 

if someone's got a link to a site, or a jpg to email, that would be swell

Try this: E-BIGS (examples-based grading system)

Scroll down and you'll see "interior page color" images. And if you do radial-button selections for all the categories, it'll produce a grade.

this is the one that i found when looking just recently! it's not quite what i need

 

i like that overstreet card, but is it actually accurate, as reproduced on the screen like that? those colors look funky!

I would not use that owl card at all. Almost worthless, especially OW and above.

In reality OW on that OWL card is closer to Tan than OW.

Another thing that makes grading paper quality tricky is the companies paper stock. Timely books age a little different than DC's and Fox books are different from those. In fact Fox books often have pink pages.
