Now that the Giving Tree thread is basically dead do you think this thread will gather some steam? Or does everyone think the GT thread has soured the experience for a lot of people?

I am still standing by, with offers ready if I see something I am interested in. I think it will be a bit more selective on people taking offers, but we will see how it plays out.

My personal reason for not participating is that right now I don’t have time to pack up books to mail out, otherwise I would have picked one of your offers.

I think if the PIF is taken more seriously (fairly) it could become fun again.

I think more people might start participating in here. I feel more comfortable doing so because the claimed offer goes back up if nothing gets claimed, and the items are a smaller dollar amount even though we aren't supposed to compare in this thread.
