Achieved my goal posted by Joesheldrup

I set a goal of having X-Men 1-16 in whatever shape I could afford. Then it kind of evolved into having everything in a 7.0 or higher. I had almost achieved that until today. Only ones missing were #8 and 9.

 

I had been looking around earlier this week and found a few auctions that caught my eye. X-Men 8 and 9 both graded at 8.0 so I put my bids in 190 for #8 and 225 for #9. And I won both of them. Then I had my eye on an X-Men #3 graded at an 8.5 and I won that one with a bid of 820. All in one day!!!! This is gonna hurt my wallet but oh well. I have successfully completed my original and partially my later goal. So I think I will call it quits for the rest of the year. Next year I will probably work on the Amazing Spider-Man run. the same thing happened when I was going for my hulk 1-6 in 8.0 and better, destroyed my wallet for a while but do not regret it all.
