Are these the same book before and after pressing?

I've convinced myself they are. Strangely after pressing and resub the grade stayed the same (even though it looks a hell of a lot better) but the page color went up from cow to oww

after resub it sold for about 5k less, although it was 8 years later. It is still the highest grade on a classic cover featuring the last golden age appearance of Solomun Grundy. There are 3 9.4's (but are there really only 2?)

Page quality went from COW to OW.

Book looks moderately better but scanners were different for the two auctions so it's tough to compare.

There are lots of books that don't go up in grade, they just don't get noticed as often as those that do.

Killer book though. I love it.

That's the same book. There are lots of matching markers on the back cover. Look at the crease mid spine of the back cover, it's the same on both books. Also, the same print rub is by the blue box next to the daisy riffle, there looks to be the same streaking along the top edge of the back cover near "message to" and some creases are still lightly visible near the tree house (pretty clear they've been pressed).
