The next book is also one that looks good at a quick glance, but in actuality it's got all kinds of problems going on. The top right corner of the book feels as if it has water damage (stiff, wavy, rough pages. You can see the waves in the picture of tue back cover. Anyone know what could cause this?) but there is no water stains or doesn't look as if it's been wet. Just feels that way to the touch. Fold URFC. CB creases along spine. LLFC has dent in corner. Dent in between the A and M in famous.

Back cover is more rough than front. It has a puncture/dent right at the tips of the bottom two knives in the ad that goes through the last 3 pages and can be seen/ felt through the rest of the book. You can actually slightly feel it on the front cover (the aliens left arm). Some dirt stains along spine. Folded corner at ULBC.

The wavy appearance of the back cover looks to cover an area of several inches, This is a bit too large for a 3.0 grade, so I will go with 2.5.

Yea, that stiff wavy stuff goes through the whole book in the upper right portion of the book. Firgured it would bump it down quite a bit. I think a press would make this book look pretty awesome though. Thanks! (thumbs u

I agree its probably a technical 2.5 but if the moisture (?) damage has left no stains, no change in the consistency of the cover's colours, and it appears to have retained its gloss and eye appeal 3.0 would also be reasonable. I was first thinking prolonged exposure to a humid environment, but that should effect the book uniformly, right?

I was thinking that also. It feels like humidity/ moisture/water damage but there's no visual traces of any of it. Maybe it was some space alien goo and for that it bumps it up to a 10.0. Who agrees?
