I was talking to a friend just yesterday about it...

 

It seems that the best writers / illustrators were waiting for the

comic code to ease up in the Late Silver / Early Bronze period.

And the books that were created in this time were sheer magic.

I like the Atom/Silver age periods the most but I will be looking into Golden Age at some point. I do have about five golden age books right now but nothing that makes me want to collect this era full time.

 

With so many books, a writer, artists to choose from it becomes difficult to pinpoint one era. For the most part the Silver Age has the most to gain dollar wise down the road, and is the age that started the characters that most can associate with in the mainstream.
