I have one more Burroughs book, and this one is in amazing condition.

This is a fantastic copy of The Moon Maid, with bright red boards, tight cover, intact hinges and beautiful pages. This copy basically looks unread. Pencilled number on front endpaper. Very attractive book!

Would this have originally had a dust jacket? Is this first edition? Interested in this, just reading The Princess of Mars for the first time!

This is the Grosset and Dunlap edition, which was printed after the A.C. McClurg 1st. The McClurg edition would probably start at around $150 in fair condition without a dustjacket.

 

This edition did originally have a dust jacket, but I reduced the price on this copy quite a bit since it is without the dj. You won't be disappointed in the condition of the exterior and interior of this book.
