Usual rules apply. Feel free to make offers but first :takeit: takes it. Shipping is included.

This is a rarely seen tabloid magazine called CLOSE UP from Aug 1941. This issue features the gang from the MLJ studios seen with sexy models in provacative poses. Harry Shorten, Joe Blair, and publisher John Goldwater are among those posing for pictures. This article was created at about the time Archie was being created but the emphasis is on the heros - Shield, Steel Sterling, etc. This is a real rarity and highly sought after by collectors Condition is Fair overall - cover wrap loose, some paper loss to the spine area but the wrap is still together, some brittleness to the edges, some minor wear throughout. The comics article section is in nice shape with some minor corner creasing. See the pics for more details.Really hard to find issue!!

Board price is $85 $35 shipped
